ABOUT EMMA
Hello and
welcome to this space
“We all come from the sea, but we are not all of the sea. Those of us who are, we children of the tides, must return to it again and again, until the day we don’t come back leaving only that which was touched along the way.”

My Journey
I’m Emma – I came into this world and was raised in Bretagne, France.

My body was imprinted very early with childhood traumas, which have shaped my perspective on life and the complex human condition as well as my own relationship to the world around me.

Since I was five, dance has been a refuge, as it has given me different pathways of self-exploration and expression.

Over the past two decades, my personal healing journey brought me to transition from a dance profession to manual therapy, which allowed me to further deepen my knowledge of the body. I was introduced to CranioSacral therapy in 2003 in Paris, France, which is the same year I moved to the US.

In 2009, after stepping out of the dance scene, I became a certified massage therapist, which helped to develop my sense of touch. Though the physical medium of the body was already familiar to me, I shifted my perspective to focus on the inner emerging movements rather than external forms and performance.

I became a certified CranioSacral Therapist in 2015.

In my clinical practice, I have had the honor of working with:
women, children, tweens and teens, young adults, LGBTQ+, dancers, performers, athletes, actors, singers, musicians, artists, people recovering from physical impacts (car accident or sport injury) or emotional impacts (grief, transitions), older people, and those who are facing the end of life.

The conditions I have treated the most are:
headaches and migraines, chronic illnesses, concussions, tinnitus, anxiety, stress, depression, TMJ dysfunctions, insomnia, PTSD & CPTSD, neck-shoulders-back pain, and ‘mystery cases’.
My orientation has turned specifically to trauma healing over the past few years through the study of Somatic Experiencing®.

For over a decade, I have helped people by listening very carefully, with my hands, to the subtleties a whole body holds. For countless times, I have witnessed the power of change and the expression of life.

In order to help you manage stress and recover from trauma, I offer gentle, non-invasive modalities that provide safe support for your individual healing process. However, I am going to be bold and honest with you. I do not fix you as there is nothing to be fixed.
You hold the healing power within yourself.
What I offer is my skillful assistance and my full dedication to guide you and accompany your journey to getting in touch with your authentic self and to help you experience a greater ease of being.

I honor deeply my relationship with people I treat and consider each of you as one of my teachers. I believe in the intelligent processes of life more than in a pathological approach and I am always curious to see what each session will bring.
I look forward to connecting with you.
